1.1. How to set the order in which devices or scenes are arranged on the central control screen home page
Click Settings→ Smart home→ Edit devices→ Pin to top

1.2. How to restore the factory settings
Go into Settings→ About the device→Software version and tap the software version 5 times or more; a page pops up, tap "Reset host" and that is it.
1.3. How to set the password for entering the system settings
You can either enable hotel mode or set a system password.
How to set the system password: change it on the Settings→ Advanced settings→System management→Change management password page; entering an empty value clears the password.
1.4. I forgot the system settings password, how do I get it back
Entering the settings requires a password. If the user has enabled hotel mode or has set a password of their own, the default hotel mode password is: 6688. If that password does not work, contact the developers to get the super password for that day.
1.5. How to carry out a system upgrade
The system checks automatically every two hours and, if a new version is available, jumps to the upgrade page. Or tap Settings→ Software update→ Check for updates manually
1.6. How is the Tuya plugin upgraded
The Tuya plugin upgrades itself automatically in the background by default; you can also tap Settings→ Smart home→ Plugin information→ Check for updates
1.7. How to upload logs
Tap Settings→ Advanced settings→ Upload logs manually, or use the voice command “Hello Xiaoke, upload the logs”. No pop-up window appears once the logs have been uploaded successfully, but a voice prompt is played
1.8. Tuya devices are not fully displayed
Device types that are not supported for now are not displayed
1.9. Can devices be controlled when the network is offline
On the Tuya gateway edition, if the sub-devices were added and configured under the screen gateway, they can be controlled offline. wifi and Bluetooth devices cannot be controlled, and cloud-linked scenes cannot be triggered.
1.10. Device types currently supported

1.11. Do the H9/L9 support RS485?
The H8/L8 gateway edition does not support RS485 control; the non-gateway edition can support it.
1.12. Are infrared remotes, infrared devices, scene switches and group functions supported?
The Tuya edition supports infrared air conditioners, the others are not supported for now, and groups can be controlled through scenes
1.13. Tapping smart host management reports that the plugin is not installed
Connect to the network first; once connected, the plugin is usually downloaded and installed automatically. If it is not installed automatically, open the plugin information page and tap Check for updates, and a dialog appears once the installation succeeds. If the plugin cannot be downloaded and installed, contact the technical staff to check whether it has been authorised.
1.14. How to hide devices or scenes
Just go into Settings > Smart home > Edit devices or Edit scenes and set it there

1.17. How to change the wake word
End users changing the wake word is not supported for now; for a customised wake word please contact our business team
1.18. City location cannot be resolved down to the district level
City location only supports resolution down to city level, not to district or county level
1.19. How to check whether the network is working
Say to the voice control: "Hello Xiaoke, play a story"
1.20. I do not want the upgrade page to pop up automatically
Settings -> Software update -> Advanced -> turn off software update reminders
1.21. How to turn off offline voice
Settings -> Voice settings -> turn off offline voice
1.22. How to set the boot music
Connect the computer to the background music host over usb and copy the song files into the "root of the host USB disk/custom/audio/boot" directory; once the host is powered on it plays all the songs in that directory once. Playback is currently in alphabetical order of the file names, so you can decide the order of the music through the song file names.
1.23. Central control TTS speech synthesis audio file function
Enter Settings - About the device and tap the upper-right corner of the About the device page 5 times or more in a row to enter the developer options page, then tap TTS speech synthesis to enter that page. Enter the text you want synthesised in the edit box and tap the hint tone button to synthesise that voice. Up to four hint tones can be synthesised; once generated they are located in the /custom/audio/tone directory, and the user can plug in a usb cable to export the audio files, for batch mass production of devices.
1.24. How to set the hotel welcome message:
First create an automation or a one-tap execution in the Tuya app, choose inserting a card to take power or another trigger as the condition, then add a task whose operated device is central control gateway - play hint tone, and complete the creation.
The hint tone audio files can be produced by the central control TTS speech synthesis, or the user can copy their own audio files into the /custom/audio/tone folder over a USB cable; the audio file names must be tone1.mp3, tone2.mp3, tone3.mp3, tone4.mp3, corresponding to hint tones 1~4.
