1.1. Controlling the background music host

Overview

  The "control background music host" integration means that third-party clients (such as gateways and mobile phone apps) access the music resources, volume control, audio source switching and music playback control available on the Xiaoke host.

Integration methods

  Two integration methods are currently supported.

JdPlaySS

  Controls the Xiaoke host over a network protocol. It supports LAN discovery of and control over the background music host, and exposes local and scene music resources together with their controls. It is mainly intended for Linux/RTOS gateways.

RS485

  Intended for installations that already have an RS485 central controller; it exposes local music playback control and volume control.
